『芸術は学ぶものじゃない』

家がお世辞にも裕福とはいえず、
親の負担を軽くしようと就職を選んだ私に
当時の美術の先生がくれた言葉です。

この言葉をどう捉えるかは人それぞれですが、
とても印象的な言葉で、いつでも私の心のどこかにありました。

それから十数年、迷走していた私がやっと
本当に表現したいものと、表現の手段にたどり着き、
楽しみながら作品を創っています。

みなさんの琴線に少しでも触れることができれば幸いです。

"Art is not something to learn"

It is a word given by an art teacher at the time to me who chose to find a job in order to lighten the burden on the parents because the house was not rich in flattery.

It's up to each person to understand this word, but it's a very impressive word and it has always been somewhere in my heart.

Since then, I have been straying for more than a dozen years, and finally I have reached the means of expression and what I really want to express, and I am creating a work while having fun.
